Nikki Cosh, Massage Therapist

Massage therapy is available at Toowong Chiropractic with our remedial and deep tissue massage therapist.

Nikki says, “More and more people are experiencing the benefits that massage brings to health and wholeness. Both young and old, large and small — even pregnant mums — are finding just how relaxing massage can be. ”

Qualifications:

Nikki completed her certificate IV in Massage at the Centre of Healing Therapies in 2005 and a Diploma of Remedial Massage with the Australian Institute of Applied Science in 2007.

She is fully qualified in areas of relaxation, remedial, sports and deep tissue massage, reflexology and cross fibre mobilisation.

Experience:

Nikki joined Toowong Chiropractic Centre in December 2006, and brings extensive “hands-on” work experience from Barham’s Chiropractic in Toowoomba prior to this.

Remedial massage is her specialty, which can range from light relaxation to deep tissue and sports massage depending on your needs.

When you arrive:

During your consultation we discuss the best options for your treatment and make recommendations for any further care.

Depending on which area of the body will be massaged it is possible you will be asked to undress down to your underwear. There’s no need for embarrassment, you will be covered by towels at all times. If you are uncomfortable with this please discuss with Nikki and alternatives can be arranged.

The massage room is private and heated with subdued lighting. Clean towels and fresh face covers are used during each consultation.

Health fund rebates are available, so check your Health Fund eligibility to see if you are covered for remedial massage. The best course of treatment can only be determined during your consultation.

After hours treatments are available by appointment, for an additional $25 on top of the above rates. Please call the office on (07) 3870 4925 to determine availability, and follow the instructions from the message bank for after hours crisis care.
